Here is a possible example of a meeting format…

Opening:

  • Hello, I’m an addict and my name is ____.

Welcome to the Namjai group of Narcotics Anonymous from Koh Samui, Thailand.

Our meeting is for sharing the NA message.

The NA message is: “An addict, any addict can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use and find a new way to live. Our message is hope and the promise of freedom.”

We will open this meeting with a moment of silence for the addict who still suffers, followed by the WE version of the Serenity Prayer.

God grant us the serenity, to accept the things we cannot change,
the courage to change the things we can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Ending:

7th Tradition:

If you wish to contribute, please use the PayPal link posted in the chat.

12th Tradition:

Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.
Who you see here, what you hear here, when you leave here, let it stay here.
(Except for the message of recovery, you may take that everywhere!)

Could someone please read The Jimmy K. statement.

For those who care to, please unmute and join us to close the meeting with a moment of silence followed by the THIRD STEP PRAYER.

Many of us have said:
God, I have made a mess of my life,
I cannot solve my problems,
and I ask You to take care of me and
Show me how to live,
Clean
